Accord Vs. Camry

Please Enjoy This Accord Versus Camry Comparison.

Accord Is Perennial “10Best” Winner.

As announced in the January issue of Frontline, the 2012 Accord is a Car and Driver “10Best” winner. The Accord has achieved “10Best Cars” status 26 times in the 30 years that Car and Driver editors have been conducting the competition; more than any other vehicle in the award’s history.

Greater interior roominess, superior safety ratings, superior driving dynamics, and lower cost of ownership are all part of Accord’s overall excellence and the reason it is a perennial Car and Driver “10Best” winner.

It is the intention of Breakaway Honda to report fact not opinion.  Toyota Camry is an excellent Competitor.  Some Readers will find that Accord Is best for their specific needs based on these figures and stats while others will ignore critical information, and make a decision based soley on a "feeling" that one car is better that the other.

1Based on 2012 EPA mileage estimates. Use for comparison purposes only. Do not compare to models before 2008. Your actual mileage will vary, depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle.

2Starting with 2011 models, NHTSA has introduced tougher tests and rigorous new 5-Star Safety Ratings that provide more information about vehicle safety and crash avoidance technologies. Because of the more stringent tests, ratings for 2011 and newer vehicles should not be compared to ratings for 1990-2010 models. Overall vehicle score and frontal crash ratings should only be compared to other vehicles of similar size and weight. For more information go to www.Safercar.gov.
